- My work is all about letters - wild or elegant, casual or ornate, edgy or playful ... I work globally for a wide range of clients from the advertising, packaging, editorial, corporate, publishing and music industries. Briefs can range from one word or phrase, to blocks of copy or full colour illustration. I enjoy experimenting with word and image. Born in Liverpool, I studied for a Bachelors Degree in illustration at Newcastle Upon Tyne and went on to study a Masters Degree in hand drawn lettering, calligraphy and experimental typography at Central St Martins School of Art, London. Based in London, I have been working freelance for 19 years. Clients include: Coca Cola, BBC, Virgin Records, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Harper Collins, Thorntons, Victoria's Secret, Marks & Spencer, Neiman Marcus and Newsweek Magazine amongst many others.
